Anna Sawai, who gained fame through the US drama series Shogun, will portray Yoko Ono, the wife of John Lennon. Lastly, British actress Mia McKenna-Bruce will take on the role of Maureen Cox, the wife of Ringo Starr.

This cinematic event is titled The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event and was first announced last year.
