Robert Pattinson Sparks Fan Uproar Over “Red Flag” Comment, Reigniting Twilight Era Memories
Robert Pattinson has inadvertently ignited a firestorm amongst Twilight fans, following remarks he made at a recent film premiere that many have interpreted as a veiled jab at his past relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart. The British actor, 39, was attending the Rome premiere of his latest film, The Drama, alongside his co-star Zendaya, when the topic of relationship red flags arose.
When questioned about what he considered a significant red flag in a romantic partnership, Pattinson initially feigned seriousness, responding, “Like Zodiac sign? Aries.” He then quickly followed up with a laugh, clarifying, “I’m joking. I just picked a random one!”
However, this light-hearted deflection didn’t land well with a segment of the audience. Social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), were quickly abuzz with comments pointing out that Kristen Stewart, 35, is indeed an Aries. Astrologically, Aries individuals are often described as bold, passionate, and natural leaders.
The reaction on X was swift and varied:

The Twilight saga famously saw Pattinson and Stewart’s on-screen chemistry blossom into a real-life romance that lasted for approximately four years. Their relationship was a subject of intense public scrutiny and faced significant challenges, most notably following Stewart’s highly publicised infidelity in July 2012 with Rupert Sanders, the director of her film Snow White and the Huntsman.

When asked alongside Zendaya about the biggest secret they had ever kept, Zendaya, who has been the subject of similar marriage rumours with boyfriend Tom Holland, responded coyly, “Nothing that comes to mind.” Pattinson then turned to Zendaya and quipped, “It’s the same one that you have.” This exchange fuelled speculation, although a source previously told People that both Pattinson and Waterhouse “want to be married.
