After attending and opening the 2022 Agrarian Reform Task Force (GTRA) Summit in Wakatobi regency, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and First Lady Ibu Iriana Jokowi on Thursday (09/06) visited booths of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
One of the booths visited by the President and the First Lady was the CCR Wakatobi booth which sold various kinds of Southeast Sulawesi snack products. The President and Ibu Iriana bought all the products there.
“I am glad because he bought all of the products. Thank you very much, Mr. President,” Salfiah, the seller, said.
Salfiah expressed hope that the President’s visit can boost the advancement of MSMEs across the country and boost economic growth in regions.
In the meantime, Jenita, the owner of the Leama Wakatobi booth, which provides various kinds of Wakatobi t-shirts, also expressed hope that the visit of the President and the First Lady can benefit MSMEs and Wakatobi communities.
“I hope that the President’s visit can make Wakatobi more advanced, more prosperous, and more peaceful and the MSMEs will be more prosperous and more advanced,” Jenita said. (BPMI of Presidential Secretariat/UN) (RI/LW)
