Over the course of the day, the number of individuals in critical condition was updated, and it was reported that only two victims remain in critical condition while seven others have stabilized. Initial Concerns and Investigation

Initially, the attack raised concerns about a potential terrorist motive. British Counter Terrorism Policing units were involved in the early stages of the investigation. However, after further examination, police have ruled out terrorism as a possible motive behind the incident.

“British Transport Police declared a major incident yesterday, and Counter Terrorism Policing were initially supporting our investigation. However, at this stage, there is nothing to suggest that this is a terrorist incident,” said Loveless.
