British University Vietnam (BUV) has been recognized as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Vietnam for 2025. In its inaugural year of participation, BUV demonstrated performance indicators that significantly surpassed the industry average across all five stages of the Employer Brand Health Check model. The Employer Brand Health Check report revealed several key insights into BUV’s appeal as an employer:

  • Attention: BUV achieved an Attention score of 83.6%, exceeding the sector benchmark of 75%. This indicates a high level of awareness and recognition among potential candidates.

  • Interest: A substantial 6.7% of sector talent considered BUV as a potential employer, demonstrating a strong level of interest in the university.

  • Action: Notably, 3.8% of respondents were ready to take action and apply for positions at BUV, significantly higher than the sector average of 1.5%. This suggests a proactive interest in joining the university.

  • Desire: An impressive 2.5% of respondents perceived BUV as an “ideal place to work,” nearly three times the market average. This highlights the university’s strong reputation and desirability as an employer.

The report identified several key factors contributing to BUV’s strong employer appeal:

  • Clear development pathways
  • Integrity as a core value
  • A modern, secure workplace

These elements collectively contribute to BUV’s positive employer image, positioning it as a highly desirable place to work and moving it beyond simple awareness among job seekers. The university’s success across all five stages—Attention, Interest, Action, Desire, and First Choice—demonstrates its effectiveness in attracting and engaging talent.

“Vietnam’s 100 Best Places to Work” Ranking

The “Vietnam’s 100 Best Places to Work” ranking is an annual initiative conducted by Anphabe, a consultancy specializing in employer branding. The program has been running for the past 12 years and is endorsed by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and verified by market research firm Intage Vietnam. The 2025 survey involved responses from 73,000 individuals, including over 7,000 students, who evaluated more than 650 companies across 18 industries. This comprehensive survey provides valuable insights into employee perceptions and preferences, helping to identify top employers in Vietnam.
